Emeril's Essence

I can't ever find spice mixes that are just right for me. Most are too spicy or sweet. So, I've learned to create my own. This is my version of Emeril's Essence without all the heat. You can add more cayenne if needed.

2 1/2 tb paprika
2 tb salt
2 tb garlic powder
1 tb black pepper
1 tb onion powder
1 tb cayenne pepper
1 tb dried oregano
1 dried thyme

Combine all ingredients and store in an airtight container. Sprinkle on chicken or mix in meatloaf.
